The establishment rejected my application for ballot access today. This came as no surprise. In doing so, the ESTABLISHMENT politicians are ignoring the Constitution to benefit themselves. By controlling who can and who cannot be on the election ballot this fall, they are trying to control who can and who cannot get elected to the United States Senate. It’s clear that the ESTABLISHMENT thinks they should have special privileges and rights, but the United States and the West Virginia Constitutions say they cannot do that. We will be filing a COURT claim next week that the “sore loser” law the…

Today, I officially filed my paperwork for the office of U.S. Senate as a member of the Constitution Party. As I have repeatedly said, I am the only candidate who cannot be bought by out of state billionaires and I will work hard to drain the swamp. The politicians are not draining the swamp— the swamp is draining America of both its value and its values. Just this year alone, the deficit will exceed 1 trillion dollars and illegals are pouring into our country and bringing their un-American values with them.

Charleston, WV—Don Blankenship will file his official paperwork with the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office tomorrow for his candidacy for U.S. Senate as a member of the Constitution Party. Mr. Blankenship does not expect the filing to be certified and will vigorously challenge the denial through all legal means necessary. Mr. Blankenship fully expects to be on the ballot this November. The political establishment cannot retroactively enact laws that prohibit individuals who become members of some political parties from being on the ballot while allowing individuals who become members of other political parties to be on the ballot. This…

Some of you may remember that when I got involved in helping create a two party political system in West Virginia, stopping the state from going billions in debt, eliminating your grocery food tax, and getting rid of a Judge that released a pedophile, Manchin and his friends coined the slogan: “Don—West Virginia is not for sale”. The attached article shows why West Virginians should support my candidacy and why that slogan came to Manchin’s mind. My intent is not to buy West Virginia but rather to help make your lives better. I will only be beholden to West Virginians,…

Our plan is for me to file my candidacy for West Virginia United States Senator next week. In advance of my filing, the Constitution Party of West Virginia sent the attached letter to the West Virginia Secretary of State yesterday. The politicians are naturally hopeful of keeping me off the ballot because they want to maintain control of the political process. The Democratic and Republican Parties believe they can do just that. They believe that they can decide who is and who is not on the election ballot this fall. They seemingly fail to understand that someone seeking the Republican…

Yesterday, Judge Omar Aboulhosn issued an order requiring the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to provide my attorneys with a copy of the Office of Professional Responsibility’s report on the prosecutorial misconduct that occurred during my trial by August 15 or explain why they will not. The Judge’s order effectively denies my request for the OPR to produce this report within ten days. Critically, it gives the DOJ an easy out—when the deadline rolls around, they just need to say “it ain’t ready yet”. At least four points are worthy of note: 1. The OPR investigation has been ongoing for…

Don Blankenship announced today that the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) has finally agreed to release their Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) report. The DOJ did not, however, provide a date on which the report would be released. Mr. Blankenship expects the report to disclose prosecutorial misconduct by former DOJ prosecutors, including U.S. Attorney, Booth Goodwin, and Assistant U.S. Attorney, Steve Ruby. It is worth mentioning that Goodwin’s father, Judge Joseph Goodwin, is one of five federal judges sitting in the Southern District of West Virginia. Though Judge Goodwin did not hear Mr. Blankenship’s case, Judge Goodwin’s mentee, Judge…

My attorneys filed the attached motion in federal court on June 21. The motion asks that the court require the Department of Justice to make available the Office of Professional Responsibility investigation report into my prosecution. The filing is simply another effort to expose the truth. The hope is that eventually this effort will also lead to full exposure of the truth about the Upper Big Branch (UBB) mine explosion. If and when the explosion truth is made public, there is no doubt that mines will be made safer. The truth about what happened at both UBB and DOJ corruption…

What does it take to defeat Don Blankenship in a West Virginia Republican Primary race for U.S. Senate? It requires the Mitch McConnell-controlled Republican Senatorial Committee to spend nearly $2 million running negative false ads against him. It requires every major national television network—and even President Trump’s son—to slanderously label him a felon. It requires five Republican U.S. Senators to endorse an opponent. Even with all that, it still requires President Trump himself to urge West Virginians not to vote for Don. These media clippings, which show the national media falsely labeling Don a felon, will likely be brushed off…
